Eileen Kerr
Director
Eileen has 10 years of experience in the arts sector, working primarily as a Producer and festival and events Manager.
Previous roles include General Manager for Kelburn Arts and Arts Coordinator for the Arran Theatre and Arts Trust, where she is now delighted to be a Trustee.
Eileen graduated from the University of Stirling in 2011 with a BA(Hons) in Film and Media.
Carrie McAdam
PR and Comms
Carrie joined the John Byrne Awards in April 2022. She previously worked for Scottish Ballet and Sistema Scotland in communications roles. Her background is in journalism, working at The Herald and times groups for 8 years styling fashion shoots and writing features and articles.
Carrie graduated from Glasgow University with an MA (Hons) in English Literature and went to study Fashion and Lifestyle journalism at the University of the Arts, (London College of Fashion)
Azza Hassan
Project Development Assistant
Azza graduated from the University of Dundee with a degree in law. Since then, she has been running a small fashion business inspired by her heritage. In her spare time, she enjoys doing yoga and being out in nature.
Chloe Alexander
Design and Social Media Assistant
Chloe Alexander is an Edinburgh based painter, graphic designer and maker. Before joining the John Byrne Awards team. Chloe studied at Leith School of Art and received a BA (Hons) in contemporary Art Practice at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Arts in 2019
Niamh Moffat

Niamh is based in Edinburgh studying English literature and film at Napier university. Niamh administrates and shortlists monthly competition entries
