My entry explores body confidence, and the fear we all have of exposure, physically and mentally. It questions our ability as human beings to cope with pressure placed on us, by ourselves and by the wider world. It presents a character at their most vulnerable, in the hope that readers will realize that they are not alone in feeling insecure. I want people to feel that squirming awkwardness the character feels, and empathize with it. Empathize with a part of themselves that is perhaps put aside, and even ignored.
