I’ve always loved exploring the female form through my work. To me, it is art. Not a sexual object.
As someone who has experienced sexual harassment on multiple occasions, I realise the effect it can have on an individual.
The sad reality is that most women will experience sexual harassment on a regular basis, and like myself, will have to deal with the anxiety it causes.
I went through a period where this affected my work, making me more reserved and refraining from sharing my art. This piece to me is a personal protest against women being sexualized and objectified. A form of liberation, it celebrates the female form in all it’s beauty.
