What makes us recognisable?

Finn Robinson, 18

In an age where who we are and what we look like can be altered and edited to present someone who looks completely new, I paint different views of self portraits into one collaged composition to see how far I can push the abstraction of my face without it becoming unrecognisably me. I played with colour, texture, form and shape to make this piece abstractly realistic, while retaining what makes me, me.
