What is the human experience?

Mikey Finley

My entry expresses the human experience. Since I was a child I have been fascinated, and disturbed, my the fragility of the human existence. It conveys how complex, and beautiful the body is, and also how it can degenerate and be extremely fragile, falling to soft pieces. The same with the brain.

These are silk fibres which I have deed an arranged. For me it signifies softness & fragility, contrasted by the harsh, bright colours I used. This juxtaposition resonates with my daily life as a fragile artistic soul in a bold, brutal world.
