What is Life Like Inside Another’s Head?

Kayleigh MacDonald | Niall King, 21

Play Script(Un)Exposed, 2019

(Un)Exposed is a theatre piece set in an inpatient mental health facility following 5 patients and their relationships with each other, their therapist and their view of the outside world. (Un)Exposed is important as it addresses, explains and explores very real issues faced by those with mental health conditions and how these issues impact their lives, in particular, the impact that they hide from the outside world. Written based on personal experiences of mental health, navigating the world while dealing with these and trying to explain how the world looks through the lens of being mentally ill, (Un)Exposed is a stark telling of the reality of falling apart and figuring out whether or not to try to stitch yourself back together again.
