What is left?

Kate MacLean, 64

The earth gathers our remnants, and sometimes makes something beautiful, transient and ethereal from the most mundane of scraps. This work is reclaimed, upcycled, compostable and novel. The wind has formed these soft collected cushions: they are made of dog and cat hair, and flower petals, and perhaps some insect skeletons. I have pinned them to some wrapping paper with paper tape, adding a few weeks of permanence to their dancing
