In a world where everything is global and tradition forgotten, boundaries are still an ontological problem. The idea I have about what a nation is might differ from other people; Scotland is a country and it’s not, Galiza is a country and it’s not. As an inmigrant, the reality of Brexit shakes me even more. Seeing women working in the coast of Galiza and Scotland -and realising how similar our tradition and our folklore are- makes me wonder: why are we still focusing on the differences while having so much in common as humans? Does the place we were born define us? Why leaving a country or choosing to stay in another one? What makes a place be/ become your home?
