What is going to be left?

Krisztina Horvath, 24

These works were inspired by the ongoing climate crises that humanity as a whole is facing, specifically by the catastrophic bushfires in Australia at the start of 2020 and the melting of the polar ice caps reaching a point of no return. The focus of these two digital paintings is the feeling of desperation and the sense of urgency as we are left to slowly watch these events unfold. One is left to wonder, if we fail to act and the destruction of our home continues, what is going to be left?
