What does she make of all this?

Hannah Fraser-MacLean, 27

I painted this portrait of my young daughter during the Scottish Coronavirus Lockdown. I spent a lot of time wrapped up in my own anxiety, so much so that I didn’t think about how she was being affected. My fears for her wellbeing were so intense that I believe they were damaging in their own way. This painting is for her, my beautiful sensitive girl ,and as a reminder that the youngest in our society are not oblivious to what is happening. We are all in this together and as she sees it, soft toys ‘n’ all.
