The work is based on personal reading experience of “The Outsider”. The misogynistic narrative interfered the reader to enjoy the philosophy and perspective behind the book. As the plot develops, the eyes keep moving forward, but the brain sticks on the misogynistic part. The description keeps repeating again and again.
“The Outsider” is just one of the examples, which are recommended readings in school. Female characters are sexual fantasy and symbolic objects to the main characters in many classic novels. She is replaceable. She could be any girl. The plot has happened again and again since I was little, which makes me question my own value as female when I was young and ignorant.
