What Do Cultural Melting Pots Taste Like?

W G Saraband, 27

This painting is a celebration of diversity, and the incredible range of ingredients that can be brought into a melting pot when those contributions are welcome. Scotland’s name written in Arabic calligraphy by a gay Portuguese immigrant is just one of the flavours that make up this incredible melting pot, and in a way elevates the country’s sense of openness in a world besieged by the rising forces of hatred and xenophobia.
