People struggling with their mental health are often prescribed medication to help get through a difficult time. The action of taking medication is often described as a sticking plaster to give someone time to get through difficulties. The problem comes when the plaster then becomes an irrevocable patch. Surely a part of your character is now synthetic? There is no quick fix, if there was a singular pill then it would be prescribed. Who are you really?
