PhotographyDays in Isolation at the Big Nanna Hoose, 2020

This is an important question as we have a responsibility to educate our children about the massive social change they are experiencing. I am a transplant survivor and I care full time for my grandchild. We have been in lockdown together for 42 days. Initially I decided to journal this time with daily photos and captions talking about my grandchild’s day. This gave rise to the thought of what will I tell her in this changed time? I decided on the truth. Kids can grasp huge ideas if they are explained in terms they can handle. Such resilience is amazing to me and inspirational. And yes, I think we owe our kids an explanation for the huge change they are going through.
