Should the past be forgotten, to progress?

Should the past be forgotten, to progress?

Darren Duddy, 28

My work explores the ever changing country we live in. It is a form of documenting things that have had an important past, before they are lost forever. In a world obsessed with progress, nothing is really built to last and lacks the skill and beauty of times gone by. My work provides a snapshot into the every day and aims to make people take a second look at something they would normally ignore or dismiss. I like to find beauty in the mundane and keep alive the spirit of the past.
