Maintaining relationships through depression is hard whether that be the children we care for or the partners we have. Taking care of ourselves while taking care of others is a day to day struggle. Looking to the past to make sense of the future is a difficult one. To look at ourselves and see how our own behaviour has shaped the present if that behaviour has been negative can be hard if depression has moved in again… Do we forgive ourselves? Say we couldn’t help it or worry that it will life will repeat itself.
