For my last year at University, I’ve decided to embrace the colour which has slowly been filtering into my life in recent years. Pink is the primary colour which connects all of the works into one, a colour which has been associated with femininity and ‘girly things’ throughout my childhood growing up. Something which I used to hide away from due to the way boys used to see it as a negative. I now hope I can get people to walk into a space filled with these colours that makes them feel lighter and a little more cheerful in contrast to the cold white and gray walls which surround us every day. I want to show off my passion for pink which I now love and prove that it can both be girly and cool, fun and fitting into the adult world which I’ve grown into. An every changing medium of acrylic and emulsion colour from projection, to wall to canvas.
