Normally in January, Ben Nevis the largest mountain in the United Kingdom is covered in snow and ice. However this year it was near dry with not much snow on it. Will this be the new normal for Scotland’s winters? Where grit boxes on high roads won’t need to be used and be vandalised by passers by and no snow lying on a normally snowy, arctic-like landscape. Is there still enough time to change the weather back to the snowy landscapes or is it to late?
