Is Symbolism In Nature Still Relevant In Today’s World?

“Tulip, (True Love)”, is the first of eight painting produced during Scotland’s first Covid 19 lockdown.

I wanted to look closely at nature but also relate that to how we respond to each other during a time of crisis. Symbolism is a strong emotive way to connect us with nature in a time of lockdown, when we all feel isolated. The tulip has many varieties leading to many meanings. The symbolism of this tulip, true Love, I felt said it all.
