Is society really what it’s cracked up to be?

Kyle Rush, 30

This poem asks why we accept a society that either doesn’t want us or just doesn’t need us as individuals. Would it be better for us to find our own space, our own minds, something that instead of damaging us because we don’t quite fit the mould?

Is technology separating us instead of uniting us? Does our virtual self reflect our actual self?

These questions matter, are we slowly losing who we are because we’re too busy pretending to be part of something we’re not?
