Everyone knows perfectionists’ biggest critics are themselves, but why is this? I believe that the cause of this insatiable hunger for impeccability stems from the perception of how other people create or do things.
Perfectionists are constantly seeking approval and praise never mind how small or large a task and obsess over the attention other people receive, thinking about how it should be focused on them, this condenses into pure jealousy which both fuels the fire within them and poisons the perception of their closest friends.
Is jealousy the root of perfectionism?
