According to the dictionary definition, Feminism is the advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes, “Women Blossom” reflects upon the fact that societal issues have created the need for people to fight against equalities and without these societal flaws, would there then be a requirement for feminism? As a female, we must assume many identities, which are hopefully less stereotyped, compared to 50 years ago. Unfortunately, women are still not perceived as equals in many areas of society and there are still preconceived ideas of what is a woman’s role, compared to a man. Women are strong, they have the expected roles of mother, wife, domestic goddess, to aspire to be beautiful, and achieve so much more. “Women Blossom” encapsulates the juxtaposition of power and fragility, reflected in the blossom with the ever watchful eyes of society, creeping into our psyche. We have a choice to be whoever we want to be, we can blossom.
