In this painting, we testify the children who are exhausted and injured by the endless war. By the consciousness of being children, they are trying to play marbles with hopeless and tiredness despite their reality. The focal point is children, and consequently the background is unimportant and without any details. The figures are playing on the broken pavement and in the street that has pale colors. Although three of the children are concentrated on the play, one of them is looking to the sky desperately.
