I care, do you?

Sara Lucia Carbonara, 38

Concentration camps have taken different names over time, however still today the tragic result remains unchanged: thousands of children are slaughtered in the most atrocious circumstances, in sufferance, loneliness and fear. Cicero once said “Historia Magistra vitae est,” history is a directress of life; is this still a valid and poignant reminder that we should strive towards a future suitable for children? A future in which all children, without any distinction, can be empowered, protected and not killed, silenced or side-lined.
