Humanity – Protecting the Environment

To walk in a silent field with nothing but your own thoughts for company is something many of us in rural Scotland take for granted. No cars tearing the delicate blanket of tranquillity and no fake lights polluting a clear, natural, summer night. Will our future generations witness this, like I have? Or will the red light in the background be a burning power plant and the silhouetted tree be a cold metal pylon, a scar against our burning sky?
