How do we understand language?

How do we understand language?

Emily Edmond, 22

Conditions such as visual stress are of particular interest, they come from differences in the the visual and language processing systems within the brain. How these conditions effect people, when their access to language is a challenge and how that impacts their ability to interact and comprehend with the written word.

I am often contemplating the emotions and thoughts experienced when faced with difficulty from something that you have little to no control over. This is a relatable experience, not only useful when exploring barriers in communication, but also in various aspects where a person may not feel in control. Emotions are an abstract concept, yet by exploring them through language and its presentation you can better illustrate them and begin to process and make sense of what was once over whelming.
