June Shortlist – How do we stop looking for who we were?

Fiona Burton, 21

Through a conversation between two new lovers’ 35mm holiday photos and what looks like a 9-year-old’s drawings questions of what it means to move on from a significant part of your life are asked. From questioning one’s entire personality to questioning if one should be looking backwards for a glimpse of who they should be now the film looks not for a conclusion but for some sort of comfort.
