How Do We Bring Conversation Back To The Dinner Table?

As a graphic designer, I believe it is incredibly important that the work I put out into the world strives for positive change and helps to build a more equal and inclusive society. For this project I wanted to utilise a big household brand and develop a prospective campaign that develops our debating and discursive skills: Heinz tomato ketchup has heard countless brilliant dinnertime conversations over the last 150 years. Family mealtimes improve academic achievement and mental health by building informal support networks and developing conversational skills. However, in recent years these moments crucial to social development have declined in homes. The pressures from life are making it more difficult to disconnect and find the time for conversationā€¦ this has contributed to a deterioration in mental health and an increase in polarised opinions. So we want to bring people and conversation back to mealtimes. Sparking the next 150 years of conversation by bringing something new to the tableā€¦
