How can I see myself as others see me?

Daisy Hutton, 20

Body Dysmorphic Disorder is a mental illness that distorts the reality of a person’s features. How they perceive themselves is completely different to how society perceives them. It’s an irrational obsession and leads to strong feelings of worthlessness and shame. People with the condition are encouraged to talk about it and find ways to express how they feel – whether it be through writing, drawing or just talking.
