Holding death, the nature of life in our hands; but is killing for life
our nature? Have we forgotten the meaning of death, seeing only
our own hunger?
Death is something we all know, yet no one does, and It can be argued that you cannot know something unless you have a full understanding of it, the meaning, the actions, and the consequences of those actions.
As humans, we understand how to kill, and we know how to prevent death. However, in a world that is fast approaching another mass extinction, and at our hands, can we honestly say that we understand the meaning of death? Perhaps we have forgotten and need to be reminded.
I hope my picture helps to spark more conversations surrounding our understanding of death and how our actions are affecting humanity and the world today.
