DO WE EVER KNOW WHAT PEOPLE AROUND US ARE GOING THROUGH?

James Price, 30

This was the first short film I ever made. It was written in the aftermath of a close friend’s death. Upon finding out upon his death I accidentally walked in front of a taxi in the West end of Glasgow. This caused both me and the driver of the taxi to get into an argument. I was filled with an anger and rage so dangerous and self righteous that I knew I had to write something exploring these feelings. The taxi driver did not know what I was going through, yet I felt I had every right to vent and be volatile. I do not believe my anger was in any way justified by my grief but the raw emotion was so powerful that I had to explore it.
