Do we ever grow old? This is a portrait of my teenage great niece. It’s not 100% like her I know, but I only hoped to capture her beautiful eyes and her youth. I can see my own 87 year old mother in her young eyes. This makes me think, do we ever really grow old! I chose to use shades of pink and blue tones that I often see settling on the water from late afternoon to early evening on Portobello and Joppa promenade.
