Can we grieve what we have never known?

Choirstaidh McArthur, 23

My entry explores the relationship that I have with my late Grandmother, Annie, and with the isle of Iona, where her ashes were scattered before I was born. In this piece I explore the idea of grieving a person you never knew, but to whom you are still connected to. The film piece is made of video clips and audio from a family trip to Iona, as well as a spoken poem on the experience.
