Are we all sitting comfortably?

Are we all sitting comfortably? A rhetorical question often posed to the audience by a storyteller before beginning their tale, when it is assumed that we all are. Similarly the world starts and ends each day accepting the silence as a yes. The image represents the solitude and loneliness of mental health, the beauty of what once was, in direct juxtaposition to the hauntingly dark beauty of the destruction caused. A visualisation of our inner fight between our true nature and urban living, which leads to the empty chair void of a spectator, caught up in their heads, unable to appreciate either, through the fog of depression.
