Misty Waters

Misty Waters

Karra Pope

This photograph shows how something as unmistakeably eerie as fog can be made to look so beautiful in a photograph. The value of the photograph is that it captures the breath taking events that can occur within nature. The use of the rule of thirds technique distinctly captures the trees hovering on top of the lake. The fog makes most of the photograph unseen which makes the trees look as if they are floating in mid-air with nothing underneath them, nothing holding them back.
The main part of this photograph that makes it truly unique is the fact that most of it is unknown. The monochrome colours add to the depth of the picture. The eerie branches show an almost skeleton like effect which adds to the chilling nature.
