During a stag do abroad I was travelling with a 35mm camera. Capturing some of the happiest moments as we went along the city, I wanted to have it on something physical: something to keep. The particular roll I wanted to use had gone out of date 10 years previous and I had not known how well it was kept. In my mind I had faith that at least one or two of the images were going to be usable, and with a certain look to it, of which I wanted to have for the special time away. Walking along one of the main streets of Amsterdam I kept behind the group. The backs of heads you see on the left are the stag during a busy time in the city. The correct timing of when to take the shot and what you use for it can help change the whole meaning to a photograph, with a story behind it.
