Danielle Gardiner

Danielle Gardiner’s practice explores memory, family, and the traces of human presence. She is inspired by objects that belong to, or and have an association with, close family and friends, focusing on the actions of a particular person that form their identity. Danielle’s emotions play a huge part in her work; she portrays the relationships she has with individuals and their impact on her life, considering the elements of time and death and what documentation will survive to carry their presence and existence into the present day and ensuring they are not forgotten.
