Love Is... Space

Love Is... Space

Chris Mellin

At the foot of the waterfall, Fire is being warned by Air and Earth not to get too close to Water- whom he has recently just became infatuated with.

In many contexts he is known for his dangerous and ravaging nature but Air and Earth understand Water as a force intractable by Fire and indeed a threat to him: as although her embrace gives life to the above pair it should cease Fire if he gets too close.

This is kind of counterintuitive as Fire is probably perceived by many folk (as well as potentially by Earth and Air) as a bigger threat to their well-being than Water, but in this union she could easily smother and over power him.

Sometimes love needs some space, it's elemental.
