Annual Shortlist 2021-22
Thank you so much to all of the courageous entrants to The John Byrne Award, this year! We received over 800 original artworks since last February, and are now facing the very difficult decision of choosing our annual winner.
The winners were chosen by our panel of expert judges; Alexia Holt; Ruth Wishart; Steve Stenning; Alex Renton and Jo McLean.
We are delighted to announce Victoria McNulty’s ‘Is Urban Loneliness a Form of Civic Violence’ as the winner of the annual John Byrne Award prize!
The standard was extremely high and our Judges Alex Renton, Ruth Wishart, Alexia Holt, Stephen Stenning and Jo McLean would like to thank everyone who entered.
