Trinity

Harri Hill

At the beginning of the year, I went with my friend to visit his dad in hospital. There was a moment when the three of us were holding hands, and it was a moment of sadness, but also energy and love running between all of us as we sat by the bed.
I felt compelled to document this moment through art because cancer is terrifying and love extraordinary - both difficult to define through words. The triangle in the centre of the image represents the connection between three individuals depicted as a shape, an object, as real as the bed frame, the curtains, the wires... love and fear were tangeable in that moment, forged from connections between us in that moment in time.
