I have always loved digital photography and especially digital manipulation. Today I feel there is a bad vibe attached to Photoshop, it has always been connected to the media especially when it comes to peoples’ bodies, models being made to look unreal and celebrities being airbrushed. But I wanted to use it as a tool to create highly detailed, surreal images. The images represent some form of identity loss, but my main theme of surrealism has allowed me to create images that physically aren’t possible in real life and to show that Photoshop can be used for art. It is an art form I believe not many people use but it is something I love and will continue to pursue and discover. Because of this, I believe for it to come under many values such as creativity, pleasure and freedom.
