It seems to me that humans have a somewhat impressive ability to let their thoughts overwhelm them. Evolution, in giving us the gift of rational thought, bestowed on us an eternal angst.

We all, I think, can be consumed by our thoughts. Our doubts can cloud our view, infect us with negativity.

A wise man/boy once said - "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around every once in a while, you might miss it."

In this piece, I have tried to instil a feeling of stillness in an attempt to 'slow life down'. Every moment is worth experiencing once we realise it is; something I find very hard to do. Through this piece I wish, to some extent, to cure the fog of thoughts that prevents our true self and our true values shine through.
