The value 'Enjoyment of Life' is the one I'd choose to describe this piece of work.

The story behind it, is that a group of friends and I were all messing about in the art base; being stupid and having the time of our lives and I managed to capture how happy Freya looked in that moment in a painting. The essence of the look of true joy, the way we all felt. The feeling that the painting captures is how I want to feel for the rest of my life, and it makes me so happy to look at. In that moment nothing mattered except how much my stomach hurt from laughing, and the beautiful smiles that were lighting up everyone’s faces. That feeling floods my mind and is brought right back to me when I look at the painting, which is why it means so much to me, and why it is so special.

I chose ‘Enjoyment of Life’ to describe this painting because messing around and laughing like that, and painting are the two things that bring the most pleasure, and so I think this painting best encapsulates this value to me.
